Performance

The text of Puss in Boots is based on Charles Perrault's fable, to which Drago Buka has added his own commentary to the life that we lead today. Aspects of this reality can be seen in the plot of the play: three brothers decide to divide their father's estate, and leave their youngest brother Neven only his cat and books. But the cat's wisdom and ingenuity will rescue Neven from a life of misery, and give the story a happy ending. With its dynamicity, colourful approach and excellent musical numbers, Puss in Boots will certainly be another surprise for children attending MESS, but not only for them – as this production also speaks out about situations that only adults can comprehend.
