MESS for Mostar
MESS for Mostar
The MESS Festival Head Office kindly asks all theatre-workers, artists, and all those who appreciate theatre, as such to sign a petition organised by MESS, and thus express their solidarity toward the Mostar National Theatre and the Croatian National Theatre in Mostar. The city and cantonal authorities of Mostar, and especially their ministries for culture, have, with the haughty and primitive approach to culture, forced Mostar’s oldest theatre institution to close its doors to its audiences after 60 years of artistic development. Similarly, the employees of the Croatian National Theatre of Mostar have been forced to go on strike in a desperate attempt to make the local and global press and public aware of the impossible financial situation that they have found themselves in. We ask you to sign, and in this way, support the MESS FOR MOSTAR Petition. http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/MESSZAMOSTAR
