AUTUMN EUROPEAN TOUR OF SARAJEVO FESTIVAL ENSEMBLE
from September until November 1994
There was 31 performances in 12 European cities: Paris, Amsterdam, Douai,
Strasbourg, Marseill, Blois, Tours, Geneva, Bonn, Berlin, Ljubljana. They
played two plays "SILK DRUMS" and "IN THE COUNTRY OF LAST THINGS".
Many European artists took a part in plays of Sarajevo Festival Ensemble
like: Vanessa Redgrave in Amsterdam, Maurice Benishou in France, Michael
Koning in Germany, Damjana Cerne in Ljubljana and Jan Kooper (saxophone
player from Amsterdam).
Main organizer of the tour was THETRE DES BOUFFES DU NORD from Paris (directors
Peter Brook and Micheline Rozan) and sponsored by UNESCO.
